Winter Blast is an “extra” event for Scouts; it is not designed to take the place of traditional summer camp, but an extra program for Scouts to excel at during the Christmas holiday period. All Scouts are expected to live by the Scout Oath and Law while at camp.

Scouts need to provide their own tent, sleeping bag, etc. (like a normal campout) during Winter Blast.

All meals will be provided.

All Scouts need to provide a Merit Badge book for each class they are signed up for.

All attempts will be made to fill the top 6 Merit Badge choices for each Scout, however we may have to use ‘optional’ merit badges (choices 7-9), since some classes have maximum class sizes. First come first serve for merit badge classes.  Merit Badge schedules will be mailed to each Scout.

There may be some requirements needed to be completed at home, for the Scout to finish the Merit Badge at Camp. A list of all needed requirements will be sent with the schedule to each scout.

Check-in time :9:00 – 10:00am 26 December 2007.

Check-out: 11:00am  31 Dec 2007.

All Special Dietary needs must be e-mailed no later than 15 Dec 2007 to Camp Director.

All questions need to be e-mailed to the Camp Director.

Winter Blast will be a fun filled week of learning, excitement and fellowship, I hope that your Scout(s) will attend and make this first ever Winter Blast a time to remember in their Scouting careers.
