District Recognition Banquet and November Roundtable

Roundtable with recharter packet distribution 6:30 PM.; Dinner and banquet at 7:00 PM.

THEME: “Black Creek Blue and Gold”

WHERE: Family Life Center, Orange Park Methodist Church, Orange Park Florida

WHO: All Adult Scouters

WHY: A chance to recognize the leaders within our units who have exemplified themselves by service to their units and/or Black Creek District.

 - Unit Centerpiece judging
 - Presentation of the “Spark Plug” awards
 - Presentation of District Award of Merit

HOW: Purchase a ticket from your Scout leaders to attend for $5 and sign-up for a covered dish item to bring to the event. You can also purchase tickets online

Ticket distribution will occur at the September and October roundtable with each unit receiving 10 tickets to sell within the unit. All unsold tickets and monies will need to be submitted by November 1 to one of the following Scouters:
 Dick Keyworth, Larry M. Nichols, Robert Midgett, Tawny Slaughter

Nomination for the District Award of Merit

The District Award of Merit is open to all registered Scouters who have rendered outstanding service to Black Creek District and have not previously received the award.

Nominations should be submitted on the attached nomination form by the deadline of October 10, 2016 and mailed to: Cliff Rose
