District Dinner

Thursday November 15, 2007
Ashley Lodge Camp Echockotee @ 6 PM

Tickets are available from Lisa Zehner @ scoobystayinbuzy@hotmail.com.  Tickets are $3. 
Dinner will be catered by Carrabba's Italian Grill in Orange Park. Tickets will be available at October's Roundtable!!  We must have accurate numbers from troops, packs and venturing! 


 

SPARK PLUG AWARD

 

We are looking for the adults in YOUR pack, troop, or crew who keep the spark going…

 

Enter their name into the SPARK PLUG AWARD.

 

At least one person from every pack, troop, and crew entered will be recognized at the
District Dinner on Nov. 15th 2007.

Nominations for
District Award of Merit

 

Each year three nominees are selected from Black Creek District to receive the District Award of Merit.  Leaders are selected for this award from Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing Units.   Nominees must have demonstrated unit leadership, community involvement

and support at the District level.  Recipients will receive their award at the Black Creek District Dinner to be held at Ashley Lodge, Camp Echockotee, November 15, 2007.

 

Submission of a nominee must be made on the attached BSA District Award of Merit Form along with a single page write up outlining the merits of the nominee.  Submission of the nominee must be received by November 2, 2007.  Mail, e-mail, or Fax submissions to Dick Keyworth, special awards chair, at the following address;

Silver Beaver Nominations

 

Just a reminder, nominations for Siler Beaver are due into Council by November 30, 2007.

 

Please submit your nominations to Dick Keyworth who will review the nominee, suggest any changes and deliver those nominations to Council. A copy of the nomination form with instructions is attached below.  A one page narrative on the individual is required and to be attached to the nomination form.  Additionally, a recent head and shoulder photo of the individual nominated is required.
