everyone that participated in this weekend's event. Over 6,500 instruction
hours where received by our boys thanks to all of YOU.
The MBF committee wants to extend a special thank you leaders
- all of you where so easy to work with, even if we sometimes did not have
the best class locations and the campsites where crowed.
If you had a boy in the new scout Baden Powel
program: Every boy got a paper with
what he worked on this weekend. Nothing was signed in their books. It is up
to you as troop leaders to check their new skills and sign off the books.
Everyone in the BP program also got to participate in one Merit Badge
(Disability Awareness). They all have the Blue Card for this, signed by the
DA counselor. The boy's Scout Master just needs to sign the card and it's
good.
Not completed classes:
In many classes it's impossible to sign off all requirements
for a badge. The boy has the contact info to their MBF instructor on the
blue card - but also on the website under MB Class 2010. That counselor OR
another, for that badge registered, counselor can sign off the remaining
requirements when they are completed.
Cost Reimbursement:
Councilors - if you still have receipts for cost of class
material, please scan and email to Robert Midgett today or tomorrow!

classes and their pre-requisites. Some classes can only be taken if
pre-requirements are met.

Each scout should bring a print out of the requirements and
worksheet for his merit badge to class. They can be found here:
http://www.meritbadge.com/worksheets/ , or he can bring the MB book.
Please note: the merit badge counselors will NOT have extra copies! "A Scout
is PREPARED!"

ALL Troops must sign in at the Camp Masters
HQ FRIDAY NIGHT 4-9 pm - even if your
unit is not camping - turn in your Troop Roster and all Health Forms. All of these will be returned along with patches
at check out. All units MUST turn in Health Form even if you are not
camping!
NO TROOP CHECK-IN SATURDAY!

Each troop is expected to contribute with Merit Badge counselors
and/or assistants. We need assistants to many of our classes. Please show up
early before a new session starts to find out where you are most needed
(bring a chair).

T-shirts are NOT part of the fee.

and mail it in
with a check no later than
March 1, 2010. T-shirts will be passed out at check-in so the Scouts can wear
their shirts during the event.
