CPR Certification

This is NOT a merit badge.

Open for adults and scouts

    This class is NOT a Merit Badge class, but a CPR certification class, open for youth AND adults.
 
There is a $5 administrative fee if you want to receive a certification card. Bring CASH!
 

For adults to register for this class: Register with your unit just as if you where a boy, enter your name as a scout. When you enter your name, please type "ADULT" before our last name.

Swim Test

    Swim suit! The scouts will be entered into a sheet for your unit which will be given to you at checkout.  These swim tests will be conducted by BSA Certified Aquatics directors and should qualify for summer camp. Conducted Sunday  morning. Sign up for a 1 hour block.

Almost. Requirement 8 calls for planning a court of honor, having it approved by the PLC, then serving as MC. We can plan a court of honor and write a script for it, but we can't actually implement it.

5. Attend a public meeting and report on it. If Scout has attended meeting and wishes to make presentation, that's OK, but otherwise we will not cover this requirement.

If it is time for your 6 month check -up, please complete Requirement #3.Arrange for a visit with a dentist. Before you go, ask whether your visit can include a dental examination and a plaque-control demonstration. Afterward, ask questions about things you want to know. Requirement #4 - Scouts should bring thier survival kits to class. Optional Requirement 8 part 2 : Scouts will build a shelter and can optionally sleep Sat night in the shelter or complete this requirement later with their troop. They will receive an incomplete if they elect to do the later. Scouts that choose to sleep overnight in their shelter will need a permission slip from their scoutmaster. They will be given a slip and instructions at the end of class. Scouts will stay with their unit and meet up for the overnight at a pre-designated area.
