ROUNDTABLE NOTES 3/06/08

Convened – 7:00PM

Day Camp – Calvin Dumas –Troops are still needed to volunteer – Day Camp staff will come to any meetings to recruit please email Calvin @ hobbesthetiger@bellsouth.net; Everyone should start receiving camp flyers in the mail by the weekend; Dates: Day Camp June 9^th-13^th, 2008 8AM-5:15PM; Twilight Camp July 14^th-18^th, 2008 6PM-9:30PM.

Cub O Ree – Calvin Dumas – First meeting is March 20^th @ Camp Echockatee 7PM; Would like to have one representative from each Pack/Troop to attend; Cub O Ree will be at Camp Shands this year.

Merit Badge Fair – Susan Cochran – Volunteers still needed for the following classes: Citizenship in the Community; Personal Fitness; Environmental Science; Collections; more info regarding these classes (times, # of classes, etc) is listed on the Black Creek website; please email Susan at kyleandsusie@bellsouth.net if interested in volunteering.

July 4^th American Pie – Any Packs/Troops interested in working the 4^th of July event at Moosehaven needs to complete a survey; there will be an information breakout at the April Round Table.

Camperships – Paul Cummings -- campership applications are now available on Black Creek website; Cub Master/Scout Master need to complete apps.

TPC – Paul Cummings – TPC is coming and again Troops are being asked to volunteer for boys 14 years or older; additional information on Black Creek website.

Training – Fred Eckert – See Black Creek website for additional info on training sessions --
NLE/Leader Specific – March 15^th @ Fleming Island High School. 

NLE training will be at the April Roundtable April 3^rd ;

NRA Training will be held at Camp Shands on the following dates May 9-10; Oct 24-26; Nov 7-9 — cost is $275 firearms & ammo are provided;

BB/Archery Master Training will be held @ Camp Echockatee on April 5^th  and @ Camp Shands May 3^rd – sign up on-line at Black Creek website.

IC Presentations – Bob Eisworth – presentations are being scheduled

Centennial Quality Award Forms -- Get with Troy Nagle, Scott Wenzel, Wayne White or your Unit Commissioner to get this completed ASAP.
