Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS) and Outdoor Webelos Leader Skills (OWLS)

 

November 20-22, 2015 

Who: All interested Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity and Venturing adult leaders.

What: This weekend event will offer Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills Training. It is designed to hone the outdoor camping skills of all Scout leaders. The training program focusing on patrol method, troop structure, event planning, camping, scouting skills and outdoor cooking. You are guaranteed to have fun. The training staff is made up of senior Scouters in Black Creek District.  In addition to being trained for IOLS, you will also receive training for the Outdoor Webelos Leader Skills (OWLS).

When:  Friday, November 20, 2015 through Sunday, November 22, 2015 

Where: The next IOLS/OWLS training will be conducted at St. Johns River Base at Echockotee, 2513 Doctors Lake Drive, Orange Park, Florida, 32073.

Additional Information: There is a mandatory Pre-Meeting date on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Black Creek District Roundtable, Asbury United Methodist Church, 16 College Drive, Orange Park FL 32065.  This meeting is designed to establish Patrols and provide necessary information for the training weekend on November 20-22.
