Scouts (and their family and
friends) are invited to line Blanding Boulevard and waving flags on
Saturday morning,
May 31, 2008.
Please be dressed in uniform! Select any area on the east
side of Blanding
Boulevard between Kingsley Avenue and Wells Road (Orange Park Mall).
Make sure you find a place that has safe footage from the road and
that is highly visible as the motorcade heads north to I-295.
Scouts and their families need to be in place
by
7:30 am
since deputies from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office will be
blocking major intersections to allow the motorcade to proceed
uninterrupted. The busses will leave the High School for the airport
and Washington DC at 7:45 am.
Please bring American flags!
Everyone that participates and fills out the form below will get
a patch for this event!
If you participated in one of the previous
send-offs, patches has been ordered and WILL BE distributed. Sorry
for the delay!
