What: A chance to recognize the efforts of Black Creek unit and
district volunteers. Black Creek is allotted three District Awards
of Merit. This is a great time for Committee Chairs to recognize
leaders with adult awards such as The Scoutmaster Award.

Who: All registered adult leaders. District Chairman to recognize district
leaders, Unit leaders to recognize other unit volunteers.

When: Thursday, November 19, 2009

Doors open at 6:00 pm
Dinner at 6:30 pm

Awards Presentation at 7:15 pm

Conclusion: 8:30 pm

Nominate  a scouter for the District Award of Merit!

The award is available to Scouter’s who render service of an outstanding nature at the district level and presented by the district. The nominee must be a registered scouter, and rendered noteworthy service to youth in Scouting, outside of scouting, or both.  In addition to the form a one-page narrative needs to be included on the individual being nominated. District Award of Merit nomination is confidential.
