Each year for the past fourteen years Black Creek District has provided funds to needy Cub or Boy Scouts attending a long term summer camp experience.

This year as in the past several years, District will fund a needy youth who attends District Cub Scout Day Camp or Camp Shands at three-quarters (3/4) of the Council camp fee. Boy Scouts attending “Out-of Council” Camps will be eligible for only one half (1/2) of the Camp Shands summer camp fees. If a needy youth has requested prior year funding, consideration will be given as to the amount of support District is able to provide. This support will be based on the total District needs.

Since these District Campership Funds are held by North Florida Council, all requests MUST BE submitted via the District Campership Chairman. This year’s Campership Chairman is Mr. Burnie Powell. All information on the submission of the Campership request is on the Campership Form. DO NOT SUBMIT your request to Council as it will be returned.
