
What:
This training is
designed to provide Outdoor Leadership training to Cub Scout volunteers
who have completed “This is Scouting” and Cub Scout Leader Specific
Training. The target participant is a new Cub Scout leader who has
minimal camping experience but wants to plan and carry out an entry
level experience for the pack.
We’ll discuss basic
camping guidelines, cooking, campfire ceremonies, safety, planning,
pizzazz, storytelling and lots more!
Who Should Attend BALOO:
All Cub Scout Leaders and Pack Committee Members who have received
formal training for their specific pack or den leadership role (Cub
Masters, Assistant Cub Masters, Den Leaders, Pack Committee Members).
(Register quickly – class size is limited to 25)
The training is
open, however to ANYONE, and new parents are encouraged to attend &
learn some of the finer points of Cub Scout camping.
When:
Saturday, August 14th, 2010, 8am-2pm.
Where:
American Legion
Post 250, Middleburg, FL (1/2 mile east of Blanding Blvd, on Hwy 218).

Cost:
$5 per person (covers lunch
(Dutch oven food) costs)
LUNCH: Dutch oven
meal, chips & sodas.
WHAT TO BRING:
wear your BSA uniform shirt, folding camping chair, sunscreen,
umbrella/rain gear, coffee cup, pen & paper, Pack Flag, and Scout pride!
BRING YOUR PACK FLAG! Oh, and don’t forget to bring your Pack Flag.
Remember your Pack Flag too. Mega brownie-points for bringing your Pack
Flag!

8am, with the items above, and $5 for lunch.
