Roundup and rally nights will no longer be a single blitz-night as in the past

Nearly 100% of schools have confirmed requested dates

Certificates and patches to be passed out after meeting

CD/DVD is over 49 minutes in length and should be mailed out soon

Cubaree is at Camp Shands 10-12 October; Theme is Columbus day

Planning meetings for cubaree are 8/21 7pm and 9/25 7pm, Ashley Lodge

There is room for 1100 attendees at cubaree

Cubaree was moved to Camp Shands because Echokotee can only accommodate 700

Adult applications must have the “understanding” page attached and signed or they are invalid

National Leaders Training Conference was held 10 years ago

4000+ paid leaders attended

Motto of leadership on patch – “Our Future is Today”

Purpose of rallies is to recruit families to scouting

Try and ask every family 3 times to join scouting

Texas A&M has an Eagle Scout scholarship program
