Awards
– Nancy Ulrich -- The following Scouters received awards at the District
Dinner last month: Wayne White – Silver Fox; Bob Eisworth – Silver
Beaver; Bill McGowan – Silver Beaver; Black Creek District also received
the Prime Osborne III Award

Clay County Anniversary
Festivities – Paul Cummings – On
May 10, 2008 Clay
County will celebrate their 175th anniversary @ Clay County
Fairgrounds; there will a parade at 12 Noon; if any Packs or Troops
would like to participate please contact Paul @ 699-8042 or

Lifeguard Training –
Ruthanne
Baxley – May 18-25, 2008 @ Camp Echockotee; $30 fee; last date to sign
up is May 15th only 12 participants allowed.
Camperships –
Dick Keyworth --
campership applications are now available on Black Creek website; Cub
Master/Scout Master need to complete apps.
TPC –
Dick Keyworth –
TPC is coming and again
Troops are being asked to volunteer for boys 14 years or older; May
9-11, 2008; Scouts will get paid $20 ½ day or $40 day plus a hat &
T-shirt; for every 5 boys will need 2 adults.
IC Presentations –
Bob Eisworth – presentations are still being scheduled
Where to go camping? --
Eric Clarke – if you need ideas where to go camping in our area you can
go to echockotee.org and find a great listing of places to camp.
Camping –
Brian Paul – We would
like to know where everyone is camping so please let Brian know by phone
or email; there will also be a sign in sheet at each Roundtable for the
information to be listed for other units to check out.
